  8. Section 1: Listing A Property

    How do I list a property?

    To list a property simply click on "List Your Property" button on the home page.

    How do I list more than one property?

    After you have listed your first property and you want to list additional properties, click on the "Members" button on the home page. Once you log in, you'll be able to add additional listing. You wont have to re-enter your personal information as that was collected the first time.

    How many pictures are included in the listing?

    Each listing includes four pictures. If you don't have pictures, a default Florida map picture will be displayed. You should limit the size of the pictures to 200kb. Larger pictures can be deleted without notice.

    Section 2: Updating Your Listing

    How do I update my listing?

    To make changes or updates to your listing simply click on the "Members" button on the home page. Once you log in you will be able to update your listing.

    What information can be updated?

    On your listing, you can modify/update all fields including your pictures.

    Section 3: Updating Your Account

    How do I update my account information?

    To make changes or updates to your account information click on the "Members" button on the home page. Once you log in you will be able to update your account information.

    What information can be updated?

    With respect to personal information on your account, you can modify/update all fields except your username. This field cannot be changed. You can, however, change your password at any time.

    Section 4: Paying For A Listing

    How do I pay for my listing?

    To pay for your listing simply click on the "Members" button on the home page. Once you have logged in, you can click on "Pay" and follow the instructions.

    When is payment due?

    If you are in the trial period, at the end of the 90 days you will be asked to pay for a one year subscription. If payment is not made then the listing will be removed. If you have a subscription, your payment is due at the one year anniversary.

    How long is my subscription for?

    Your subscription is for one year. At that time, you will be asked to renew your subscription.

    What are the forms of payment?

    Your subscription can be paid by Paypal or personal check. If paying by check, make check payable to Hottest Florida Rentals. Mail check to the following address:

    Section 5: Listing Features

    What counters are included?

    Each listing comes with two counters. One counter tracks how many visitors come to your listing. The second counter tracks the number of inquiries emailed to you.

    What other features are included?

    Your account is fully automated. You can modify it without waiting for anyone to confirm your changes. Its instantaneous.

    Section 6: Getting Placed As A Featured Listing

    How does it work?

    Once payment is received for the Featured Listing, your listing is placed on the main page for your region. The regions are Atlantic South Coast, Atlantic North Coast, Atlantic Central Coast, Central Florida, Gulf South Coast, Gulf North Coast, Gulf Central Coast, and Florida Keys. No more than 6 featured listings are displayed per region so you get a lot of exposure for potential renters.

    What does it cost?

    The price for a featured listing is $25.00 for 3 months.

    Section 7: Inquiring About Availability

    Can you help me find a rental?

    All communication is between you and the owners. We do not get involved in the inquiring or securing of rental properties.

    What can I do if no listing exist for the city I'm interested in?

    In the case when there are no properties listed for the interested city, we recommend you post your needs in our "Want Ads" section. You will find the button for the "Want Ads" on our home page.
